The journal was founded in 2002 by M-12/B Ltd.: The aim was to establish a professional circulation of informal and practical content both in topics and style.
Our initiative is a logical continuation of former activities. The company has bean dealing with the issue of professional journals and other publications. Papers with similar profile in the field of heating, gas and plumbing installations or refrigeration, cooling and air venting are well received on the market and so confirm the sound ambitions.
The past years of the journal for electrical installations confirmed the right appraisal of the readers request and became market leader. Our large number of subscribers are committed to the paper. However in the last period there are several new products in this field of the media market, the number of readers of Electricians’ Journal is continuously growing. Today we have already welcome many of the praxis-oriented technicians and engineers in the our readership.
Topics
The topics and columns are determined by the complex market challenge towards an electrician: though entrepreneurs deal both with high and low voltage installations, our journal contains publications from both fields of the branch.
The column structure is very stable: according to readers’ expectations there are comparison tables, edifying stories, actual information in each issue. We do not miss topics like professional peculiarities, legal and financial advice, standards’ descriptions and other useful information in the entrepreneurs’’ environment. We run publications on lightning protection, lighting, safety and automation.
Subscribers
Most of the subscribers of the Electricians’ Journal are educated electricians, technicians from the countryside. Considering the legal form of enterprises most of them are single or joint ventures working in the field of electrical installations. We are proud of gaining more and more readers among professionals in the sales and maintenance sector in past periods and the number of engineers among subscribers is rapidly growing, too.
The editors continuously survey the subscribers’ society and ensures that advertisers get feedback on the result of these surveys.
Circulation
The journal is circulated nationwide, we issue monthly 8 000 – 12 000 copies. The highest value of a journal is the way and method of circulation that is why the Electricians’ Journal is audited by MATESZ the Hungarian Audit Bureau of Circulations.
Continuous growth is achieved thanks to monthly subscriber campaigns and other circulation methods, e.g. sales at major electrical wholesale shops, newspaper shops, promotions at professional trainings and exhibitions. Our newspaper is available for all leading members of the branch and free of charge for all professional schools. After all, the highest value for us is the subscriber, because – according to our studies – one subscribed paper is read in average by 2 to 5 readers!
Other activities
The editoral was issued in August 2009 in the Who’s Who in the electrical industry. The publication is running every second year, giving structured, edited overall information about major companies and players of the market. Our aim is to ensure detailed information base for decision makers. We edit the forthcoming – further information is available on our website under www.villanykikicsoda.hu.
Other publications helping the documentation base of electricians’ enterprises, e.g. commissioning of high voltage installation, protocol of lightning protection devices, etc. are of major interest. We also organize trainings based on this material.
A new way of communication is presented by our re-newed homepage that has been serving our subscribers since autumn 2008: www.villanyszaklap.hu. The page has been developed both in design elements and its content. We already count on our large number of visitors on the web and hope for an increasing number of readers drawing on our available services e.g. job inserts, commercial offers, project team building, etc.

Volume Discounts
2 issues: 5%, 3-6 issues: 15%,
7-9 issues: 20%, 10 issues: 25%.
Graphic Preparation
Advertisements are requested to be sent in real size, colour execution, 300 dpi resolution, tif or eps format by mail, CD or uploaded on FTP.Ads composed by the editorial staff based on customer material require costs for graphic preparation as 79 EUR per issue.
PR-articles
Submitting a PR-article is only possible exclusively for advertisers with a binding contract for advertisements in min. 3 issues. Rates: article on 2 pages (50% discount!) 2 060 EUR for 2 pages, article for 1 page (905 EUR discount!) 1155 EUR for one page.
The editors consider as PR-article all articles of technical orientation and not of commercial content. The content should be of information to the readers and keep the typography of the paper. The editors reserve the right to qualify the PR articles based on their content.
Inserts
Our publishing agency is ready to insert high quality printed material (product brochures, postcards) as well as their production. The spreading cost of a ready made insert: 0,8 EUR, inserting cost 0,05 EUR (We keep the rights for price corrections in case of extreme postage increase.) Extremely high weight issues (above 50 grams) rates on special agreement. Inserts made by us require a specific offer by our editorial.
Other print jobs
We are kindly at your disposal for printing several products (brochures, data sheets, flyers, postcards, etc.) from the design to the final execution. Why don’t you put us to the test? Ask for an offer before ordering at your previous print shop!

All above prices are valid for professional advertisers and do not contain any commissions. Media agencies and other advertisers (e.g. car brands, telecom companies, etc.) please ask for special offer at the editors.
Proof
We provide our advertisers a linguistic proof before the printing phase, free of charge, in word format. Advertisements arriving in ready made format after the official dead-line will be proven and in case of serious linguistic mistakes corrections are made at a cost of 32 EUR per advertisement.
Positioning premium
For positioning advertisements into the requested part of the paper a 10% premium will be charged. Positioning is possible only for ads if it’s arriving before dead-line.
